Iced Mango Mint Moringa Tea

After store buying some mango, I made this tea using mint and moringa from the garden. I added some ginger too.

I muddled the mango to a pulp but, a puree made in the blender works and adds more mango flavor to the tea. To make the tea I poured boiling water over the ingredients. Steeped until cooled, then placed in the fridge to chill.

Here are some of the health benefits of the different ingredients.

Mint leaves: great source of antioxidants, lots of nutrients including manganese that is beneficial for brain and nerve function, can improve digestion, and boost your immune system.

Moringa leaves: rich in potassium, iron, and magnesium, may help lower blood sugar, cholesterol, and reduce inflammation.

Mango: nutrient dense fruit high in vitamin c, good source of folate, low in calories, and rich in immune boosting vitamins and nutrients.
